The Production & Manufacturing Institute
Introducing
Trades Week
Our 1-Week Intro
For Middle School & Early High School
We are excited to introduce our newest program. North Idaho College is rolling out our Trades Week program to those in 8th - 10th Grades (ages 12-15) as an intro to skills and careers.

We'll cover hand tools, power tools, how to build things, manufacturing, safety, intro to reading plans, and more!
You'll work in teams as you learn to measure, cut, assemble, build, and work in a production environment. We give a hands-on experience to those new to a shop environment or who want to learn more about what it might be like.

Is This For Me?
If you want to have fun, build things, do cool stuff, and learn about different manufacturing and trades careers, this is for you. You can also come to try this out if you wonder about taking a shop or exploring manufacturing, engineering, construction, or other types of careers. Come try it out.
